ABOUT

ASEPT Strcutural Systems India Private Limited was established by a team experienced professional in the year 2018 with the aim to provide value added engineering solution to our clients using Post Tensioning Technology. We as a specialist in Post Tension, offer efficient structural solution to building and infrastructure, post tensioning design & execution service to assist the client in enhancing their projects build ability and cost – effectiveness

WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a range of premium construction services through our highly skilled and dedicated team. We design and install Bonded & Un-Bonded Post Tensioning Systems that are in compliance with Indian Standards and approved guidelines for building structures.

BONDED POST TENSIONING

Bonded post-tensioned concrete refers to a process of adding compression after the pouring of concrete and during the curing period. Concrete is cast around a plastic, steel or aluminum curved duct, to follow the area where otherwise tension would occur in the concrete element. PT force along the tendon is a function of the deformation of the concrete

UNBONDED POST TENSIONING

In contrast to bonded post-tensioning, unbonded post-tensioned concrete offers each cable permanent freedom of movement in relation to the concrete. An extrusion process coats each tendon with grease and covers it with a plastic sheathing. PT force is transferred to the concrete by the anchors provided at the ends

ROCK ANCHORING AND PASSIVE VERTICAL ANCHOR

The Rock Anchor consists of a steel tendon with a stressing anchorage on one end and a means for transferring force to the grout and rock on the other end.

WHY POST
TENSIONING?

WHAT IS POST TENSIONING?

Post-tensioning is a method of reinforcing concrete. High-strength steel tendons are positioned in ducts or sleeves before the concrete is placed. Once the concrete has gained strength, tension is then applied, pulling the tendons and anchoring them against the outer edges of the concrete, before service loads are applied.

WHY USE POST TENSIONING?

The engineering-best friend of developers, architects, engineers and contractors – post-tensioning enables the construction and refurbishment of concrete structures; improving structural performance while also reducing construction time, costs, materials and environmental impact.

ADVANTAGES OF POST TENSIONNING

- It allows slabs and other structures to be thinner. as their deflection can be controlled by post tensioning

- It allows us to build slabs on expansive or soft soils.

- Clients can save money on multiple fronts by using post tensioning.

- As compared to their RCC counterpart, it requires fewer workers.

- A simpler structure, fewer materials, and superior design will result in a faster, more
economical build.

- It is ideal choice if larger halls, offices and parking structures because of higher degree of
flexibility in column layout and span lengths.

POST TENSIONING VS PRE TENSIONING

Pre Tensioning

In pre tensioning, the steel tendons are tensioned before the concrete is cast. The tendons are temporarily anchored against some abutments and then cut or released after the  concrete has been placed and hardened.
The pre stressing force is transferred to this concrete by the bond along the length of the tendon. Pre-tensioning is generally done in pre casting plants in permanent beds, which are used to produce Pre-tensioned precast concrete elements for the building industry.

POST Tensioning

In post tensioning, the steel tendons are tensioned after the concrete has been cast and hardened. Post-tensioning is performed by two main operations: tensioning the steel wires or strands by hydraulic jacks that stretch the strands while bearing against the ends of the member and then replacing the jacks by permanent anchorages that bear on the member and maintain the steel strands in tension.
